When chemistry finally clicks.

I was spending a ton of time studying without getting the results I wanted. Tutoring made my studying much more targeted.

I would definitely recommend starting before you're in trouble. Having consistent sessions throughout the semester made it much easier to keep up. I wish I knew about them for gen chem!!!

I originally planned to use tutoring for just one exam and ended up continuing because it was so helpful.

I started tutoring because I was barely keeping up in orgo. After a few sessions, I went from feeling completely lost to actually being able to work through problems on my own and actually understanding the problem sets instead of using the answer keys the whole time.

The biggest difference for me was learning how to recognize patterns instead of memorizing every individual problem, and Matt helped me figure that out!!

General chemistry had always been one of my weakest subjects. My tutor was incredibly patient and explained things in a way that finally made sense, which was so nice because my TA didn’t know anything!!!

I wish I had started tutoring at the beginning of the semester!

Organic chemistry was the class I was most worried about going into sophomore year. This made it so much more manageable and helped me stay on track for dental school. Couldn’t have done it without you!!

I improved by almost a full letter grade after I started tutoring!!!!! The sessions were always focused on exactly what I needed help with, and instead of just repeating lecture we went through my lecture notes in a way that actually helped me understand them. Idk why all professors don’t teach like Matt!!

What I liked most was that I could ask really basic questions without feeling stupid. We would go back and fix whatever concept I was missing before moving on, and they were always so patient with me. I’ll refer them to all of my friends!

I struggled a lot with dimensional analysis and equilibrium at first. After tutoring, those ended up becoming some of the topics I was most comfortable with!

The tutoring was very different from just watching YouTube videos. Everything was personalized to what I specifically wasn't understanding. Idk what I would’ve done if I didn’t find them!!

I came in after doing poorly on my first organic chemistry exam and was honestly panicking…by the next exam I felt significantly more prepared and confident and I got an AB!!!

These sessions helped me identify gaps from earlier chapters that were causing problems later in the course. once we fixed those, everything started connecting

I had tried office hours and study groups, and even other tutoring but tutoring with Orango was the first thing that actually helped me understand the concepts rather than just copy the answer key for everything!
